Norman Gorbaty

Works of a Modern Master

During his fifty years as an advertising agency art director and graphic designer, Norman Gorbaty’s work included the product launches of the IBM Selectric Typewriter, Pampers and Crest Toothpaste. He also designed titles for major motion pictures, the redesign US News & World Report and covers for Time Magazine. He also illustrated numerous children’s books. In his spare time, Norman produced a large collection of works on paper, paintings and sculpture.

We provided book design, layout and typography, and supervision of the printing for two books of his fine art, “Works of a Modern Master” and “To Honor My People: Judaica.” Additionally, we painstakingly retouched photographs of his pen and ink drawings, pastels and oil paintings to match the originals.
